Thank you for your letter of May 18th and most especially for the lovely tape of lullabies for Aaron – not yet born!

My daughter and I have listened to your tape and enjoyed it enormously, and are reasonably sure that Aaron will as well. We are convinced that your production of these tapes will be very well received, and should do very well.

Thank you also for the information that you sent. I found it interesting. I myself have never done research on a matter of this kind. But I shall try to interest some of my students in the area, and let you know if anything happens.

Thank you again for your kindness, and we wish you well in your very worthwhile effort for young children.

Yours sincerely,
Lillian K., PH.D.

Your lullaby cassette tape is one of the most touching things I have ever listened to! I received it in my post office box on March 29th. It brought tears to my eyes as I listened to it for the first time. Monique is my 9 month old niece, who I dearly love. I presented the tape to her as a gift in her very first Easter basket. Monique definitely responded to hearing her name when the cassette was played for her at bedtime. Not only are the lyrics beautiful, but the music is so soothing and unique. My most favorite of the lullabies is “Dreamland”. You certainly did an extraordinary job with your creation. The cassette is something Monique will cherish all her life. I hope that, if and when I get married and have a child, that I will still be able to purchase one of your lullabies for my own child. I am enclosing an extra picture of Monique so you can see who one of your lullabies was created for.

Sincerely,

Thank you for writing to me. Kitty and I wish your tapes had been available when our kids were little – a personalized tape to help them sleep is a really great idea.

I’m always delighted to hear of American entrepreneurship. Here in Massachusetts we have a state supported program to provide “incubators” which provide housing, utilities and other basic needs to fledgling businesses at very low cost until they are able to fly on their own. I feel that this is the type of investment in people and in communities that speaks to the basic American spirit of enterprise and ingenuity. It is the type of investment that pays off.

I’m glad you’re experiencing such a positive response to your tapes, and I hope that you’ll continue to keep me informed of your progress. Thanks for taking the time to write – and thanks for the personalized lullaby.

Sincerely,
Michael S. Dukakis

I received the cassette tape for Alexandra and you have my very sincere thanks. It sounds like the business is really taking off – you’ve obviously tapped a need that (you’ll pardon the pun) was crying out to be filled!

Diana Gonzalez-Durruthy and I have held onto your literature regarding the tapes, but we cannot do a program specifically geared to them. It would be too close to a commercial endorsement – something we are absolutely forbidden from doing. However, we both agree that, should a story on children come along that would lend itself to having the tapes as part of the story; we will be more than delighted to include you.

Again, my personal thanks for the tapes – it’s made a difference around the Carlson household.

Very Sincerely,
Art Carlson
